Interest Groups
On February 8, the HR Forum met to discuss “Current Practices and Emerging Trends in Performance Management.” Jim Gray, Vice President at The Survey Group, provided an analysis of a recent, cross-industry survey of performance management practices and terminology. Jamie Resker, Principal of Employee Performance Solutions, led participants through a workshop based on her customized model us of approaching performance management as a continuum of skills and attitudes. Jamie demonstrated how she coaches managers on uncovering the "real truths" of their employees' performance issues and how they are then armed to provide constructive, targeted feedback to employees.
