MassMEDIC officers and staff will conduct a briefing on Capitol Hill in mid-February (TBA: date/time/location) for staff members of the Massachusetts Congressional Delegation on the reauthorization of the Medical Device User Fee and Modernization Act of 2002. MDUFMA, which authorized the establishment of user fee payments for product review, is set to expire on September 30, 2007.

MassMEDIC will deliver a policy statement, developed by the FDA Working Group and Board of Directors, on the reauthorization of the user fee program and FDA performance goals to Massachusetts staff and Members.
