Calendar of Events Released – Bruschi & Oesterle Headline 11th
Annual Meeting – May 1
MassMEDIC’s 2007 winter/spring calendar of informational seminars will feature five programs and the 11th annual conference on May 1. The program year begins with a February 15th session on “Collaboration for Innovation” with presentations by co-creation strategists Sam Prabakhar of IBM and Michael Davies of Endeavour Partners and Scott Nintzel, director of Medtronic’s Instrument Center of Excellence. This program, and all of the morning informational seminars, will take place at the Mass. Medical Society in Waltham. More details and registration is available here Additional programs include: Optimizing Sales and Services for Competitive Advantage, March 13; Nanotech for MedTech: Nanotechnology’s Impact on Medical Device Innovation, April 10; Current Issues in Medical Device Clinical Trials; May 18; Building Better MedTech Companies – A Seminar for Entrepreneurs; June 22. MassMEDIC 11th Annual Conference will be held at the Kennedy Library in Boston on May 1, 8:00 – 11:45 a.m. New England Patriots Linebacker, Tedy Bruschi, will deliver the keynote address – Never Give In – A Patient’s Perspective. Dr. Stephen Oesterle, Medtronic’s Senior Vice President for Medicine and Technology will discuss the future of medtech innovation. The annual meeting’s agenda will also include an updated profile of the medical device industry in Massachusetts and a Wall Street analyst’s take on the state of the medtech market.
