Medical Silicone Part Design Conference – October 17

With the constant demand for higher quality medical device design, R&D professionals need to remain educated on new materials and fabrication methods. On October 17, industry experts will discuss the emergence of silicone rubber materials in medical device design and manufacturing. Characterized by their wide range of desirable physical properties, such as physiological inertness, thermal stability, high lubricity, and extreme water repellence, silicone rubber materials are quickly becoming a top choice in medical devices.

At this conference, presenters will provide information and answer questions about the properties and fabrication processes of silicone materials. Attendees will receive a Medical Designers Silicone Rubber Tool Kit which includes: a Medical Silicone Rubber Part Design Manual and a CD with links to relevant web sites, samples of Silicone Rubber uncured materials, Molded Silicone Parts and a set of Silicone Rubber coupons.
