MassMEDIC
Joins State Efforts at MD&M East Show
The Massachusetts – It’s All Here team, comprised of the Massachusetts Office of Business Development, MassDevelopment, the Massachusetts Office of International Trade and Development and representatives of the Boston Redevelopment Authority and several other regional economic development agencies, joined MassMEDIC in participating in the recent MD&M East Show at the Javits Center in New York City. This is the first time the state, through these various agencies, participated in one of the largest medtech shows on the east coast. Booth visitors learned about expansion and location incentives for medical device companies. Over 100 OEMs and contract manufacturers visited the It’s All Here exhibit over the show’s three day run. Co-exhibiting with the It’s All Here coalition was Team New England, a consortium of economic development representatives from Connecticut, Western Mass. and New Hampshire. Also exhibiting at the show was MassMEDIC member SouthCoast Development
Partnership, an organization promoting the New Bedford-Fall River area,
as a site for medtech location and expansion. |
