Mass.
State Senator Fargo Tours BD Ophthalmic Waltham Facility
Last month, BD Ophthalmic Systems hosted a visit from Massachusetts State Senator Susan Fargo, Co-Chair of the State Legislature’s Joint Committee on Public Health. The Waltham facility is located in Sen. Fargo’s legislative district. Following a briefing on healthcare worker and patient safety, legislation, the patient right-to-know of the re-use of single-use medical devices (S1321), and medical device industry future in Massachusetts, Doug Lawrence, Vice President and General Manager of BD Ophthalmic Systems led a tour of the manufacturing facility and met with several BD associates.
