The Boston Globe Honors Boston Scientific as The Best of Massachusetts Business In its annual ranking of publicly held Massachusetts companies, the Boston Globe ranked Boston Scientific Corporation number one. MassMEDIC members Palomar Medical Technologies (#6) and Anika Therapeutics (#7) were also included in the top ten performing companies. Hologic, Cytyc, Haemonetics, Candela and Zoll were among the top companies listed in the Globe 100, announced on May 17. In all, 14 public medical device companies were chosen for the Globe 100 listing, more than any other industry sector.
