The Massachusetts Technology Transfer Center (MTTC), a UMass initiative coordinating the tech transfer activity of Bay State research institutions, is currently soliciting proposals for technology assessment and investigation awards. Assessment awards of $5,000 will be granted to identify markets for specific technologies being developed within the institutions Investigation awards are for up to $25,000 and are to support more proof of concept or technical feasibility work. The MTTC has received numerous statements of intent from biomedical researchers and is seeking technologists from medical device companies to assist in reviewing and ranking these proposals against the evaluation criteria. Reviewers will also be asked to hear and evaluate oral presentations made by the program’s finalists. MassMEDIC members interested in participating as a reviewer in this new
