MassMEDIC Weighs in on Stem Cell Research Initiative
MassMEDIC President Tom Sommer recently wrote to legislative
leaders in Massachusetts, conveying support for pending stem cell
research initiatives. Sommer, who wrote on behalf of the organization’s
Board of Directors, told makers that their backing of stem cell
research “under appropriate guidelines will bolster the
Commonwealth’s preeminent life science sector and would
be an important component of a sound economic development strategy.”
