Conference Showcases Emerging Medtech Companies
MassMEDIC’s 6th annual MedTech Investors Conference attracted over
450 attendees and provided an opportunity for 25 medtech companies to
present their business plans and technologies. Chris Gabrielli, president
of Mass. 20/20 Foundation and former partner at Bessemer Venture Fund
kicked off the program. Mark Speers, Managing Director of Health Advances,
LLC, reported on recent trends in start-up funding and led a discussion
with a panel of experts. The luncheon keynote speaker, Tom Sherwin, President
of CEO Resources, Inc. discussed the various stages of leadership and
start-up company development.
