DFSS Operational
Excellence Manager
Assists in the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of Black Belt and Green Belt DFSS courses.
- Manages corporate, business unit, divisional, or cross-divisional PDP improvement projects of significant size and scope.
- Works with leadership in installing organizational supports for Operational Excellence (reviews, communications, rewards, software, etc.), as aligned with same for PDP.
- Works with members of the Corporate Operational Excellence team and Divisional Operational Excellence Managers to identify, share, and deploy PDP and Operational Excellence best practices.
- Assists in the coordination and integration of corporate, Business Unit, and functional plans for PDP continuous improvement.
- Works to ensure the strategic integration of Operational Excellence in manufacturing, business processes, and in new product development.
Must have or quickly acquire in depth knowledge of THC’s PDP. Solid past performance as a project manager. Strong ability with analytical/statistical problem solving tools. Broad business knowledge and ability to link customer needs with business processes. Strong Coaching and Facilitation skills. Training and proven accomplishments in Six Sigma Methodologies. Excellent oral/written communication skills and platform skills. An understanding of and proficiency in Change Management. Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to manage multiple priorities.
BS/BA degree or equivalent degree in Business Management,
Engineering, or other related field of study.
Black Belt certification preferred, with a minimum 7 years of product development experience which includes a minimum of 3+ years of demonstrated process improvement success.
