GENERAL SUMMARY
|
FUNCTION: |
·
Inspects all inventory and pre-production
items per inspection procedures and documenting inspection results on
appropriate paperwork or in computer files. ·
Generates rejection reports on items that do
not meet specification and notifies Purchasing of acceptance of parts or
reason for rejection. ·
Performs and documents inspections on
in-process and finished product. ·
Participate on internal and external audits. ·
Team member on the MRB ·
Generate Inspection reports ·
Recommends changes or updates to inspection
procedures. ·
Other duties as requested and necessary by
Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs Manager. |

SCOPE: |
This job directly affects the quality of items produced
and impacts manufacturing’s ability to meet production schedules. Initiate and facilitate quality functions
during the manufacture and packaging of product at the Iris facility. |

Responsible for making Accept/Reject decisions on
components and finished product. |
