Description:
As part of IQuum’s LIAT™
Development Team apply fundamental engineering skills to develop innovative solutions
to meet critical customer requirements:
- Participate
in the development of new systems and subassemblies.
- Understand
design requirements and ensure designs meet objectives in the
areas of: functionality, usability, reliability,
performance, and supportability.
- Ensure
design for manufacturability and low cost.
- Work with
external suppliers.
- Work closely with design engineers to improve
part and subsystem function.

Participate in project planning and scheduling.
Requirements:
- Education: Associates or BS in Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in product development as
a mechanical designer
- Familiar with prototype designing, machined parts
and volume production
- Expert in 3D CAD – Solidworks
- Familiar with document control and vaulted
systems
- Expert in part modeling for design intent and tolerance
analysis
- Experience in medical capital and/or disposable
devices is a plus
- Excellent cross functional teamwork and interpersonal
skills
- Ability and desire to work in a fast paced
environment
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in FDA-regulated medical systems or
device industry strongly preferred
