JOB SUMMARY:
Operates
production equipment; responsible for manufacturing and assembly of clinical
and commercial products. Follows blueprints, guidelines and/or diagrams to
ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met. Familiar with
standard concepts, practices, and procedures within medical field. Relies on
limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a
variety of tasks including system and assembly testing and troubleshooting. Works under general supervision. A certain
degree of creativity and latitude is required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist
production in electro-mechanical sub-assembly build and testing.
·
Assist
in writing manufacturing procedures and training.
·
Performs
final subsystem and finished good tests.
·
Inspect,
confirm functionality, troubleshoot, and isolate failures of assemblies,
sub-assemblies and PCB’s.
·
Conduct
repair of instruments and PCB repair/rework.
·
Responsible
to keep work area clean and organized.
·
Participate
in manufacturing continuous improvements.
·
Generate
requirements and design test equipment, fixtures and jigs.
·
Adheres
to Company safe work practices, safety and ESD regulations and good
housekeeping.
·
Adheres
to and supports Company Quality System.
·
Participate
in engineering pilot build and perform design verification activities.
SKILLS and EDUCATION
·
High
School Diploma Required. Associates
Degree preferred.
·
2-5
years of relevant experience in a mechanical and/or electronic manufacturing
environment, preferably in the medical device or instrumentation field.
Familiarity with use of Oscilloscope, Digital Voltmeter and logic Analyzer and
soldering iron.
·
Knowledge
of MS Word and Excel.
·
Proven
electro-mechanical ability.
·
A
basic understanding of software.
·
Ability
to read blueprints and schematics.
·
Must
have good verbal and written communication skills.
