Reports to: Engineering Manager

Description:

As part of IQuum's LIAT™ Development Team apply fundamental
engineering skills to develop innovative solutions to meet critical
customer requirements:
- Participate in the development of new systems and sub
assemblies.
- Understand design requirements and ensure designs meet
objectives in the areas of: functionality, usability, reliability, performance,
and supportability.
- Ensure design for manufacturability and low cost.
- Work with external suppliers.
- Contribute to design and debug of complex electro-mechanical
system

Requirements:

- Education: BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in product development as an electrical
engineer
- Proven ability to take a design from concept to commercial product

Experience with:


· Embedded systems design
· Analog design
· Xilinx
· ARM processor

· FPGA design
· Noise issue resolution
· Connector and cabling design

- Hands on contributor
- Able to work effectively with minimal direction
- Ability to quickly and effectively document work
- Start-up experience strongly desired
- Excellent cross functional teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills
