Position Description

Research and develop state of the art CAD algorithms for breast and colon cancer detection.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement sophisticated image processing and analysis techniques.
  • Lead other research scientists.
  • Develop feature extraction and pattern recognition algorithms for radiographic applications.
  • Investigate and evaluate new technologies for expanding our solution.
  • Collaborate with companies, research institutions and clinical sites.
  • Work with product management and marketing to identify research requirements.
  • Create patent ideas and provide support for patent applications.

Requirements

  • 5+ years algorithmic research/development experience (3+ in corporate environment) in Computer Aided Detection in the medical industry.
  • Recognized authority in Image Analysis and Pattern Recognition.
  • Must have industry experience with proven history of delivering commercially successful results in a timely manner.
  • Advance degree in Biomedical/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Imaging Science, Physics or equivalent.
  • Strong Technical and Leadership abilities to lead a group of researchers.
  • 3+ years experience with MATLAB.
  • 5+ years C/C++/C# programming.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.

Compensation- This position pays $100,000-$130,000 with bonus and stock.  iCAD offers a comprehensive benefits package including Health, Dental, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, 401k match, Section 125 Health and dependant care accounts, tuition assistance and Company provided Life Insurance.

Location- This position will be based out of our Beavercreek, OH or Nashua NH office. Working remotely is possible for highly qualified candidates.
