PRODUCT MANAGER – CT COLONOGRAPHY PRODUCTS and FILM PRODUCTS

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Product Manager of CT Colonography and Film products is responsible for global upstream product of iCAD’s CT Colonography product(s) and the SecondLook 300 and TotalLook platforms

  • Commercialize products, enhancements and patches for CT Colonography product(s) and new platform of digitizer.
  • Manage relationship with development partners and key suppliers.

 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interdisciplinary task force leader to ensure cross-functional readiness to launch
  • Manage completion of milestones to ensure a timely launches
  • Communicate project status and challenges and make recommendations for swift and appropriate resolution
  • Accurately define customer needs based upon quantitative and qualitative data
  • Collaborate with R&D and strategic partners to accurately translate customer needs into functional requirements and product features for current platform
  • Manage product life-cycle and plan obsolescence
  • Develop transition plans and upgrades for older equipment to current platform
  • Work with other product manager to develop transition plan and upgrade strategy to future SecondLook Digital platform
  • Develop all relevant financial analysis and plans
  • Develop effective, efficient demo plans for iCAD, Distributors and imaging OEMs
  • Liaise with all support teams (MFG, R&D, Distribution, Quality, Regulatory, Sales) to successfully forecast and plan inventory requirements
  • Analyze existing business according to various segmentations to understand who, how iCAD sells to and why we win/loose business
  • Development of Marcom collateral, Ads, press releases, etc.
  • Sales training
  • Development of forecast and revenue projections – Units/ASP
  • Assist with downstream marketing efforts including development of promotions and programs designed to increase sales of current SecondLook 300/200 and TotalLook products worldwide from iCAD’s direct sales teams and from imaging OEMs

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS or equivalent is required, MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years Product Management experience in medical industry (medical devices
    preferred), including at least 1 full product release
  • Sales experience in direct, OEM and dealer channel preferred
  • Travel needs vary with business situation situations including 2-3 overnights per month.
  • MUST HAVE MEDICAL DEVICE EXPERIENCE
