Manufacturing Associate

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, the incumbent is responsible for performing activities associated with the preparation of production of materials to support clinical evaluations.

Major Elements of Position

Ø Perform standard cell culture and aseptic processing techniques

Ø Media preparation and batch record completion

Ø Perform ancillary activities used to support the manufacturing process

Ø Evaluate techniques for production process improvement & efficiency

Ø Assist in monitoring and maintaining facility systems

Education & Experience Required

Ø Biotechnology Certificate, Bachelors of Science preferred

Ø 1-3 years experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment performing cell culture and aseptic processing

Knowledge / Skills Required

Ø Strong initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Ø Fluency in Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint)
