Electrical Test Engineer (Worcester, MA)

Key Responsibilities

· Develop test systems to characterize and debug electrical, electro-mechanical, and optical components of our devices

· Conduct experiments and use results to improve the performance of our devices

· Perform FME studies

· Assemble new devices and maintain current devices

· Follow GLP for documentation that will be submitted to the FDA

· Effectively communicate status of assigned projects and report progress to the Senior Electrical Engineer

· Assist other members of the technical team as needed

Qualifications:

· B.S. in Electrical Engineering, experience with Biomedical Instrumentation and Life Sciences highly desired

· A minimum of 3 years industry experience in an engineering role (less with advanced degree), prior industry experience with medical devices is preferred

· Previous experience with electro-mechanical-opitcal systems highly desired

· Experience with or ability to learn C++ programming for GUI development

· Experience using electrical test equipment to characterize and debug systems

· Proficient with hands-on tasks including soldering and component/device assembly

· A jack-of-all-trades with the ability to quickly learn unfamiliar topics

· A motivated self-starter capable of working independently or within a team
