Sales Manager

 

 

Creganna create, design and build products and technologies for medical device and life-science companies. We specialise in solutions for catheter & specialty needles applications. Creganna is a preferred supplier to the worlds leading OEM manufacturers. Located in Galway, Ireland and Marlborough, Massachusetts the company employs over 480 staff. Creganna are looking to recruit an additional Sales Manager in the US.

The preferred location is in one of the main medical device hubs of Minnesota or Massachusetts.

 

 

Role and Responsibilities:

 

The purpose of the role is to develop and grow the business in a region. This will involve developing, maintaining and growing business relationships with a range of customer organisations from start-up ventures to established multinationals.

 

More specifically the responsibilities will include

  • To increase sales to agreed targets.
  • Be the primary and front line interface to our customers establishing strong relationships with the same.
  • To identify new market opportunities for Creganna in the region and generate sales for new product offerings.
  • To develop strategic relationships at both strategic and operational levels within large multinational accounts to ensure Creganna’s product offering is integrated into customer organisations
  • To communicate efficiently and work closely with the team at Creganna to ensure the highest standards in customer service.

 

 

 

Qualifications and Requirements

 

  • A proven track record in business-to-business selling in the medical device market.
  • Knowledge of Medical Device industries, the companies involved and the products consumed.
  • A high comfort level with the technical elements of the role.
  • Be an excellent communicator with the ability to present Creganna Medical Devices professionally 
  • Self-motivation, time management, organisational skills and good business acumen.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Capable of building productive working relationships and closing sales at senior levels in customer organisations.
