Global Marketing Manager - Wound Care

Collaborates with global marketing director and worldwide markets to formulate global strategies and create tactical plans to ensure on-plan sales and margin, performance for new breakthrough product development effort.  Oversees and manages the design of global business plan with regions, including forecast data, by providing expertise on market segmentation and developing pricing models.  Identifies new organic growth opportunities, emerging risks and breakthrough technologies.  Responsible for obtaining global inputs on products and assuring that specific global needs for both existing and new products are recognized and addressed appropriately in the product portfolio.  Ownership for creating the global "commercialization and launch" business plan with regions for PDT approval focusing on global customer requirements as marketing lead on development team.  Engages market research to ensure focus on business strategy.  Helps design regional Legal and IP responsibilities and demarcate how they relate to and differ from global legal responsibilities.

 

Education required/preferred:  Bachelor Degree; advanced degree or MBA preferred.

Experience:  Minimum 5 years Sales and Marketing experience or other relevant experience.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:  Demonstrated success developing and executing marketing strategies.  Global experience preferred, but not required.

Skills/Competencies:  Solid understanding of the drivers that impact product usage within the medical industry.  Strategic thinker that brings positive attitude to team environment.  Must demonstrate resourcefulness and strong initiative, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.  Must be able to prioritize multiple demands in high energy organization, meet deadlines and to interact with various organizational levels both inside and outside of Tyco Healthcare.  Excellent communication skills required.  All Microsoft Office software knowledge required, with emphasis on Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
