Senior Industrial Designer
You will work as
the lead product designer to take responsibility for, and participate in, the
complete development cycle for Medical Products, from product definition
through to design verification and validation activities.

Lead
and develop Cambridge Consultants’ Industrial Design function in the
- Product creation, requirements analysis and
product specification
- User and market research methods
- Project planning and management
- Client liaison
- Medical Products design
- User interface design for complex
interactive products and systems, including multimedia design
- Strong manufacturing knowledge
·
Create
and develop new services and, where appropriate, intellectual property to
support Cambridge Consultants’ product development activities
·
Support
the Business Leaders in sales meetings with prospective clients, planning and
estimating product design and development projects, preparing project proposals
·
Contribute
to Cambridge Consultants’ sales and marketing material
·
Interact
with teams within Cambridge Consultants broad
Position Qualifications
·
Experience
in multi-disciplinary projects (software, electronics, mechanics, and
chemistry),
·
Familiarity
with design for high volume manufacture
·
Working
knowledge and experience of the regulatory environment in the
·
Excellent
interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
·
Travel
required up to 30% (including international travel)
·
Minimum
of five years industrial experience working in technology or product design and
development for a medical products company
·
Bachelor’s
degree in engineering or product/industrial design required
·
Master’s
degree in a related field, a plus
·
