Product Manager (Metro west Boston)

 

Our client is a global provider of diagnostic medical device products.  Due to growth, they are seeking a Product Manager.  This is a great opportunity if you are seeking to join a dynamic marketing team in leading medical device company that is making a critical difference in patients’ lives!

 

Responsibilities

 

The successful candidate will plan, direct and coordinate marketing activities for our client’s products by fulfilling these key responsibilities:

  • Creates and conducts marketing programs for product line
  • Develops sales aids, sales training materials and professional advertisements for products.
  • Manages the internal approval process for new and revised marketing pieces.
  • Creates and manages information systems (technical and market data) for product area of responsibility.
  • Tracks and reports on activities and developments within competitive products.
  • Identifies and researches potential new markets by gathering information on alternative applications, reimbursement, and market demands.
  • Identify published studies that impact the business and develop communications/training strategy for field sales.
  • Coordinate and attend Trade Shows and the National Sales Meeting

Requirements

  • A Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business or related discipline required. MBA preferred.
  • 2-4 years marketing experience in surgical devices preferred. Surgical device sales experience preferred.
  • Experience coordinating and running Trade Shows preferred.
  • Ability to work independently. 
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Domestic travel required, about 8 weeks a year.
