The Surgical Endoscopy Marketing Team needs an energetic and experienced Global
Product Manager to manage a $25M global franchise, as well as, lead product
development projects for a second franchise. The ideal candidate will have a
blend of marketing, sales and customer development skills. This is a unique
opportunity to join a dynamic part of the BSC Endoscopy Marketing Team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Development Responsibilities:
• Drive US strategic marketing plan development and execution of assigned
franchise products
• Execute new product launches
• Maintain existing product lines through field support and promotion of
clinical relevance
• Create market specifications and conducting continuous product feedback
evaluations
• Facilitate of PDP product teams and ensuring adherence to the product
development process
• Support Marketing Manager in developing global strategic plans
• Assist in prioritization input for new product development
Market Development:
• Identify clinical/market trends and suggests new product/marketing
opportunities
• Create and manage regional physician educational courses with a focus on the
US market
• Develop programs to drive immediate product line revenue and ensure long-term
growth (5-10 years)
• Assists in the development of trade show planning and responsible for
execution of trade show programs
• Assist in the development and responsible for the execution of post market
strategies
• Assist in creating reimbursement strategies
Planning and Analysis:
• Manage financial performance of product
• Maintain product forecasting and inventory analysis to collaborate with
supply chain
• Develop product positioning and pricing strategies and tactics
• Drive operational product launch strategies and tactics
• Assist in providing market potential/analysis when developing market planning
documents that encompass divisional marketing plans, strategic planning, etc
• Assist in the development of the franchise budget
Building and Maintaining Relationships:
• Establish relationships with key thought leaders in the field
• Identify key physician champions for franchise products
• Develop relationship with sales representatives and functional management
Marketing and Training:
• Develop downstream sales tools to support sales execution
• Develop and implement launch strategies, including launch package
• Coordinate development of training materials through the Sales Training
department and marketing materials through marketing communications department
• Drive sales force and peer to peer physician training and education
QUALIFICATIONS
• 4 to 6 years medical device industry marketing experience.
• Proven experience in product marketing management, preferably in health
care/medical industry
• Demonstrated leadership initiative and problem solving ability, or equivalent
combination of education/experience required to perform at this level.
• Strong organizational skills with the aptitude to manage several tasks
simultaneously.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous knowledge of Colorectal diseases and colorectal surgery procedures
is considered a plus.
• Undergraduate degree and MBA preferred or equivalent experience preferred.
• Sales experience a plus.
OTHER
• Travel is expected at 30%, domestic and international
