Develop products for research and clinical
laboratories
ALPCO Diagnostics develops, manufactures, and
distributes high quality medical research and clinical IVD immunoassay

We are seeking an experienced R&D Manager to lead
the research and development of new ELISA-based immunoassays used in diabetes,
obesity and metabolic disease based research.
The general areas of responsibility include: development of new
products; supervision of technical service; and regulatory affairs (maintenance
of product complaint files and CAPA program).
Management responsibilities include oversight of multiple projects,
management of departmental expenses/budget, and the guidance, support, training
and development of 4 R&D Associates.
PhD in a life science and 10+ years industry experience of immunoassay
development, including at least 5 years in management. Must have an outstanding track record of
on-schedule and on-budget delivery of products. Very
good knowledge of IVD industry or research assay markets is essential. Additional experience in basic research,
manufacturing, operations, marketing, or a scientific
background in the area of diabetes and obesity research a plus. Must possess good verbal communication
skills with the ability to delivery effective, clear and concise technical
instruction to customers over the telephone.
