We are currently looking for a Regional Sales Representative to join our Pharmaceutical / Industrial sales team, covering the Northeast region of the U.S.

 

 

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

·        Developing, qualifying, and responding to sales leads from various sources.

·        Mastering product knowledge.

·        Making on-site sales calls, including product demonstrations.

·        Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitive offerings.

·        Providing on-site and other support for trade shows and other marketing events.

·        Managing the procurement cycle.

·        Preparing and submitting accurate forecasts on a timely basis.

·        Maintaining account, contact, and opportunity information in SalesLogix, Ahura’s SFA system.

·        Fostering a positive image of Ahura Scientific, Inc. among customers.

·        Identifying unmet needs, seeking new markets and applications for Ahura’s core technologies

 

 

Requirements:

  • B.A. or B.S., especially in a science field preferred

·        5-7 years of prior sales experience selling analytical solutions (e.g., NIR, FTIR, Raman)

  • Must have previous experience selling Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and / or Analytical technical equipment

·        Excellent presentation skills.

·        Ability to grasp and explain technical concepts related to the product and its application.

·        Ability to close.

·        Excellent communication skills (oral and written) with a variety of user bases.

 

 

Other:

  • Significant amount of travel.
